How to make it

Mix marinade in a bowl. Rub the marinade over duck skin and cavity. Cover and marinate for 2-3 hours

Heat up the wok with 3 tbsp oil and saute garlic, shallots, galangal, star anise, cloves, cinnamon, and sichuan pepper. Add water and seasoning. Bring it to a boil

Add in duck, cover and simmer for 1 hour and 15 minutes
